YES!!!! As far as I was concerned; Venables was THE ONLY CHOICE …. Now, I’m very optimistic about OU going to the SEC & being a major contender - something that was “iffy” due to their ongoing defensive woes. Way to go OU!

Historically, OU’s special teams have always been somewhat of a question mark. OU beat themselves last night; between the STUPID penalties and the kicking team screw ups, they gave OSU 2 touchdowns; the last being the punt fumble on the 4 yard line late in the 4th quarter … too high of a hill...

I just hope OU’s the one smiling … but remember; if OU wins, then they’ve got to turn around and do it again in Arlington. So, we get a twofer this year on the Bedlam series … what a way to end the regular season - Boomer Sooner!!

Well; this could prove to be the proverbial 2-edged sword … this is going to be a tough game & OSU is out to prove something this time; particularly with OU’s forthcoming departure to the SEC - this is probably the next to last Bedlam game unless OU schedules them as an out of conference game...
