That’s what started Riley down the Road of Not Trusting Joe Castiglione!!

Imagine how Mad Riley must have been to know that Saban had more Control over OU’s Future Plans than Riley did ?!?

Uh, no. Being in SoCal, I know a lot of USC people and I have watched USC for 50 years. There is virtually no "Football Culture" in SoCal but there are some major donors. Here is Riley's best case trajectory at SC.

This season: With or without Williams 7-5
Next season: 8-4 maybe 9-5 Maybe a spot in Pac 12 Championship
2024: 10-2 and maybe a Pac 12 Championship and adios and off to the NFL.

If he doesn't hit at least these marks, he will be fired. This would not surprise me because he really was not successful at making OU better than when he got there, was he? He made it a lot worse. He coached the team out of the Nat Champ game by blowing the Rose Bowl. This year he couldn't even get in the Big 12 Champ game with Caleb Williams. Plus, he totally fouled up Spencer Rattler's development.

Coaching Wizard? LMAO!

OU is 100% off better now.

Agreed Smiles…Bedenbaugh’s troops performances have been steadily dropping off the last couple of seasons. I don’t know if that was Riley’s fault of not allowing contact in practices or what…but I have confidence in Bedenbaugh and Schmitty that 2022 will be the bounce back year for the offensive line and the new weapons that will be running the offense. Remember, we will still have Drake and Theo, as well as Willis. Plus the talented newcomers through recruiting and the portal.

i figure the powers at be at USC expect immediate dividends from their investment in muleshoe, the 2022 recruiting class and those studs they will “buy” in the portal. And I don’t fault them for their expectations. If muleshoe does indeed land Caleb, Mario, Mims and Farooq, and grabs a few top OL from the portal, the offense could literally dominate the PAC12. Me too Smiles…I don’t think I could root for USC, but a part of me wants them to succeed. Mostly for the chance to meet them in a bowl game in the next couple of years. (Oh, YEAH!)

Lastly, you are absolutely correct…OU will be just fine. I’m hoping BV and company is already accepting “bygones” and are focusing on recruiting, transfer grabs and spring ball. BOOMER!

Don’t count out Baylor in 2022. They will bring back a salty, senior-laden team next year. Well…okay…yeah…Texas, with all the talented 2022 recruits coming in…COULD make some noise. I think they are a couple of years away from contending IF Sark is the kind of coach the horns HOPE he was when they hired him.

I’m glad to see this Caleb saga coming to an end. However, I’m sticking by my original prediction of him (along with his buddies) rejoining muleshoe in LA.

Just please…no more distractions…let’s just begin to focus on spring ball and our first look at BV and companies progress with the new look Sooners.

Bill Bedenbough had a Joe Moore Winning Offensive Line to protect Mayfield! He no longer has that same Luxury of a Clean Jersey & Looks more Pedestrian!!

Two Senior Offensive Linemen left for the NFL after correcting Raum @ the Line of Scrimmage!
Rawould call the Play & recognizing the error, they would correct it!!
Therefore the Pass Protection & Run Blocking was Sub Par all year!!
With 40% of the Line gone, Bedenbough REALLY needs to step up this year!!!

Texas is way ahead in Recruiting & Transfer Portal Talent!!
Unacceptable!!!

How we will miss Caleb’s Running Ability while the Offensive Line Gels
together this Season!!
Of course Caleb couldn’t carry the Entire Offense !!
He is a Freshman!!

Riley got us 2 Heisman Trophies & National recognition for Hurts, Rattler & Caleb!!!
